I had a dream last night. I was sitting by myself in an empty room. I felt sad, lonely, about as empty as the room itself with only me in it. Then a spool of wire rolled slowly towards me. It rolled forwards until it reached my feet, where it turned and began to spin. It did the thing coins do when they are spun, slowly turning on edge in little circles until they lay flat on the ground. But the moment the roll of wire lay flat, it began to unroll. It was a delicate, lovely little silver wire that moved like water, rushing upwards towards the ceiling. It twisted it's way up and coiled into faces I knew and loved that smiled at me, playful d
