Candi Coral ...close up...

This is a necklace I have made for my mother-in-law, who’s name is Candi. Her favorite color is pink… It is not that I don’t like pink. I do think it has its place, but this piece was hard for me to make. I am not used to using this color as much as some others. I also had a limited (to me) selection of pink beads to pick from. Still, I think it came out well and I think she will enjoy it.

The necklace focal is created using bead embroidery techniques including some fun stick fringe. The center “stone” is a “glimmer stone” made by the fantastic :devbrightcircle:. The other two round “stones” are cat’s eye fiber optic cabochons. Various size seed and bugle beads were used. A small amount of dyed pearls were used in the triple strands that are connected by a sterling silver clasp. This piece took about 9 1/2 hours for me to complete.
